Part of the Drive from Los Cedros/Managua to Jinotega

Medicine Packing Party

We are required by the Nicaraguan Government to bring in all our medicines in their original packaging.  Because of this, we now have to parcel out the medications when we arrive at the orphanage.  Sandwhich bags are labeled (in Spanish) with the name and dosage of the medication, and directions for use.  Most medicines and vitamins are parceled out for a month.

Please send us your prayers/good thoughts/good vibes/whatever good will you can, we are having trouble rebooking flights as our flight out of Syracuse is delayed and making us miss our connection flight to Miami!

Staff are working wonderfully to try and accommodate us.

Team Has Split Up - Keep Praying

Posted by wrig7886@fredonia.edu on February 18, 2014 at 12:40 AM Comments comments (0)

In order to get us all to Miami for our flight to Managua, Nicaragua, we have to split up into three groups.

Group One: Sue L, Corey, Steve, Bill, Billy, Tom, Kim, and Jerry are in the air to Miami.

Group Two: David, Linda, Carole, Caylee, Cheryl, and Sue S will arrive at 6:05pm in Miami via Detroit.

Group Three: Mark, Betty, and Greg will arrive at 6:05pm in Miami via Atlanta.

It is crucial that everyone make the flight to Managua: it starts boarding at 5:50pm and departs at 6:30.  Please keep praying, etc.
